About Creative Culture South West

Since its founding in 2017, Creative Culture South West (CCSW), a south-west based arts and heritage initiative has endeavoured to develop pathways that encourage engagement and enable those who believed the arts were out of reach the ability to become an active participant. This has been achieved by nurturing engagement with local heritage and the arts, and the creation of innovative ways to help people discover the South Wests rich cultural legacy, whilst providing opportunities to develop skills and interact with the arts.

By showcasing and supporting local talent spanning across the performance, filmmaking and creative writing disciplines, CCSW has built strong connections between art practitioners and the thriving arts scene by developing new talent in a fun and supportive environment that is welcoming to anyone no matter their ability or background. This approach ensures that artists are given the room they need to shine and audiences the opportunity to engage with performances and other art-related events. CCSW has achieved this through the fostering of a broad education and events programme, and projects such as Creative Culture Publications and the Creative Culture Academy.
